OUR STORY

Faris Gourmet Popcorn & Treats, is a family-owned and -operated gourmet popcorn business based out of Fond du Lac, WI.  Our focus is to bring the highest quality and greatest variety of popcorn, using only the finest ingredients, to our customers.

Faris Gourmet Popcorn stemmed from one of Jeff's favorite pastimes--making homemade popcorn nightly after long days of work. Our business started in 2009 when the youngest of three daughters, Jenny, took her dad Jeff’s favorite nightly snack and used it as a mock business idea for a high school marketing project idea.  Jeff’s nightly ritual, along with Jenny’s business idea, turned into popcorn flavor after popcorn flavor of ideas popping into the Faris family's heads. After their first official order, it quickly POPPED into a booming local business. 

With nothing like it made in the Southeastern WI area before, Faris Gourmet Popcorn was created with the intention of introducing the community to a new, unique and delicious food idea that is available to them at an affordable price so everyone has the opportunity to enjoy it! We now produce over 100 varieties of gourmet popcorn and sell in our brick & mortar outlet store, our online store, and in approx. 3000 stores nationwide.

OUR FUNDRAISER PROGRAM

With having a foundation built around education, we realize how important it is for organizations and fundraiser opportunities. From the beginning, Faris Gourmet Popcorn has worked with a variety of organizations to help their group succeed in fundraisers with earning thousands of dollars!

We work hard to keep our fundraiser program unique from our regular retail products, in order to provide each group with an advantage for selling something unique to their family and friends! All of our fundraiser items consist of our special 1/2 gallon fundraising size bag, which are not available for retail. We strive to keep our fundraiser program as customer friendly for both the organizations we directly work with, and each organization’s customers.

With the start of 2020 bringing about the global coronavirus pandemic, we decided to give our fundraiser program a good remodel and make it VIRTUAL. Since 2010, we have provided our customers with in-person selling formats, whether pre-order sales or on-hand sales at events, offices, schools, etc. With this pandemic, we feel it is important to provide our customers with a means to raise funds while social distancing. We hope our new and improved virtual fundraising platform will provide just that for you — continued safety and greater fundraising sales! After all, our customers are of #1 importance to us!
